The NRI Foundation is registered in the Netherlands as an ANBI (Institution
for Public Advancement). This means that you can deduct your donation to the NRI
Foundation from your income for tax purposes.
Under tax regulations which came into effect on 1 January 2008, only gifts
donated to an ANBI Institution are tax deductible. Since 1 January 2009, the NRI
Foundation has been recognized as an ANBI by the Dutch tax authorities. This
means that as a benefactor / sponsor you can deduct your donations to NRI
Foundation from your income - or partner tax (within the limits of the relevant
regulations). As an ANBI, NRI Foundation is free from inheritance or capital
transfer tax concerning any donations or inheritances.
